Penggilingan People Educated to Use Gas Stove and Install Electricity

This is part of the government's efforts in case of fire prevention

Residents living in RT 02 and 03/RW 05, Penggilingan, Cakung were trained how to use gas stove and install electricity from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, on Wednesday (9/4).

From three houses checked, personnel put up a striker reads 'fire alert house' and homeowners were asked to immediately make repairs to prevent fire.

He also urged the Dasawisma members in the region to routinely support locals in checking residents' houses.

"Give education first before helping them," he explained.

East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Prevention Division Head, Edi Parwoko uttered that locals were also urged to anticipate and prevent fire disaster.

Kitchen for instance, should have adequate air ventilation and should be installed correctly in order to stacking of cable connections in a single switch.

"My hope is fire case can be suppressed," he stated.
